Islam - Makes One Complete!

The word Islam means "submission", or the total surrender of oneself to Allah (الله) ( الله‎, Allāh). An adherent of Islam is known as a Muslim, meaning "one who submits [to Allah (الله)]".

Allah (الله) revealed the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), Allah (الله)'s final prophet, through Angel Gabriel (A.S).

The Holy Quran and Sunnah (words and deeds of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)) are fundamental sources of Islam.

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is not the founder of a new religion, but ‘A Restorer’ of the original monotheistic faith of Abraham (A.S), Moses (A.S), Jesus (A.S), and other Prophets. Islamic tradition holds that Jews and Christians distorted the revelations Allah (الله) gave to these prophets by either altering the text, introducing a false interpretation, or both.

Muslims are required to observe the Five Pillars of Islam, which are five duties that unite us into a community. In addition to the Five Pillars, Islamic law (sharia) has developed a tradition of rulings that touch on virtually all aspects of life and society from practical matters like dietary laws and banking to warfare and welfare. All Muslims must believe in Allah (الله), his revelations, his angels, his messengers, and in the Day of Judgment.

In some verses (ayat), the quality of Islam as an internal conviction is stressed: "Whomsoever Allah (الله) desires to guide, He (الله) expands his breast to Islam."

At another Place (الله) says:

"Today, I have perfected your religion (dīn) for you; I have completed My blessing upon you; I have approved Islam for your religion.
